Pano2VR Pro Basic Workflow

If you have a pro license and have a series of panoramas, you can follow this workflow to quickly output an interactive tour.

You can download an example tour here.

  1. Open Pano2VR.

  2. Drop two or more stitched, panoramic images into the Tour Browser or Viewer.

  3. Give each image a Title in the User Data panel.

  4. Link the images together using hotspots. Turn on the Point Hotspot Mode by hovering your mouse over the graphic in the upper left corner of the Viewer and choose the Point Hotspot Mode.

★ Tip: Change modes using their keyboard shortcuts. P is the shortcut for Point Hotspot mode.

  5. Spin the panorama to where you would like to place the hotspot and then drag the corresponding image from the Tour Browser to the Viewer.

A point hotspot will have been created, including it’s connection to the panorama.

★ Tip: If your images have been tagged with GPS data, you can just double-click on the gray hotspots that appear in the first panorama to activate the hotspots.

  6. Follow the same procedure for each image in the tour (steps 4-5).

  7. Open the Output Panel.

  8. Click the green plus sign to select an output format and choose HTML5.

  9. Choose a skin from the Skin menu. For instance, the simplex skin.

  10. Output the project by clicking on the gear wheel. The tour will open with the Integrated Web Server that allows you to see and interact with the project locally. It is not being uploaded to the internet.

You can then take the output folder and all of its contents to your self-hosted webserver, or send it to a client to upload to thier webserver.

Alternatively, you can also output a package format output that you used to upload and embed the project in your CMS site.
