A hotspot proxy ID is used to make a link between hotspots and skin elements and their actions.

A hotspot proxy ID is used to make a link between hotspots and skin elements and their actions.

Mouse events on the hotspot that are relayed to the skin element are:

  • Mouse Click
  • Mouse Enter
  • Mouse Double-click
  • Mouse Leave
  • Mouse Hover

The following Logic Block Triggers are also relayed to the hotspot:

  • Mouse Over
  • Mouse Over Parent Logic Blocks

The Hotspot Proxy ID field is found in an element’s properties in the Skin Editor.

★ Tip  Use Regular Expressions to address multiple elements. For example, if you want a skin element react to all Polygon Hotspots, add #Poly to the Hotspot Proxy ID field (assuming all the Polygon Hotspot IDs start with Poly).
