Add PDF Pop-up
Use a Point Hotspot to open a PDF file inside the project.
Create a PDF Point Hotspot
The fastest method of adding a PDF hotspot is to drag it in to the Viewer. The other way is to add a Point Hotspot to the Viewer.
Drag in the PDF to Add
- Choose the Point Hotspot mode in the Viewer.
- Drag the PDF file and drop it onto the Viewer. This will add the point hotspot and set the type of hotspot to PDF.
- Add a Title for the hotspot. This will appear as a tooltip.
Manually Add the Hotspot
- Choose the Point Hotspot mode in the Viewer.
- Add a Point Hotspot.
- Choose PDF as the Type.
- Add a Title for the hotspot. This will appear as a tooltip.
- For PDF file, drag the PDF file to this empty space or click the blue folder to navigate to the file to add it.
In both methods, the Skin ID will be set to ht_PDF. This is the default ID that is used in the built-in skins’ hotspot template for PDF hotspots.
Add a Skin
Once the PDF has been added using one of the methods above, add a skin to display the PDF. All of the built-in skins support the PDF pop-up.
