This is the default HTML template. It is found in the HTML panel of the HTML5, Flash and QuickTime VR outputs. Click the Edit Template button to open its settings.
Direct node access – Select to directly access any node within a tour by adding the node’s ID in the URL. For example:
Include gyroscope control – Select to enable use of a gyroscope that is included in some mobile devices (Apple’s iPhone and iPad, Google’s Nexus line, Samsung’s Galaxy line, etc.).
Disable on startup – If selected, the gyroscope control will not be on when the panorama starts up. It’s recommended to have a button within the skin so the user can enable and disable gyroscope control.
Use true north – Select to use true north and the panorama will always stay true to the direction (like a compass). If not selected it will use the gyroscope and the panorama will move with the device.
Smooth movement - Selected by default and provides a smooth movement during spinning. On some devices, if performance is not well, try deselecting this option.
Allow roll - When selected, this will allow the horizon to tilt. Otherwise, the horizon will always be straight.
If you need or want to output a Flash version of your panorama in addition to the HTML5 output, you can use the Flash Fallback player. Flash is found increasingly less on the web and Adobe will stop supporting it soon. However, if you add the Flash fallback player, the Flash version of your project will be used if HTML5 cannot be played back on a website.
Flash fallback player – Select to use a Flash player that uses the XML file to play back the project. If using this, there is no need to add a fallback file (SWF).
Flash fallback file – Add the Flash version (SWF) of the panorama here so that browsers that do not support HTML5 3D transformations, but do support Flash, can properly playback the panorama. If you’ve selected to use the Flash fallback player, you do not need to add a file here.
Prefer Flash if available – Select this to have Flash as the preferred player. If a browser supports both HTML5 3D transformations and Flash, the Flash version will be played via the Flash player.
Include external CSS file – If using an external CSS file, you can add the file here.
Embedded XML – Embeds the XML file in the HTML template. Good for when things can read the external file.
Create files for external embedding - Select to have Pano2VR include files (JSON, preview image) for external embedding, allowing you to host the panorama and embed the panorama on different servers.
