2022 was an eventful year for us! Thank you for a wonderful year, and we wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and all the best in 2023!
Pano2VR 7 and Gnome Cloud
You probably already know that we’ve spent most of this year working on Pano2VR version 7. We released it a few weeks ago. We hope you’re enjoying all the new features! We forgot to mention a few at the time of release like, multi-layered maps, new features to the Text Box skin element, easing controls for skin elements, Project Properties, and that the default FoV Mode is now set to diagonal.
We released a new product! A cloud hosting service called Gnome Cloud. Now, you can upload your projects directly to the cloud using our hosting service.
We Traveled
This year the entire team finally got the chance to get together in person! We met up in Venice and took the opportunity to visit our friends and talk about panoramas and skin design.
At the beginning of this month, we traveled to Athens for a panorama photographer’s meeting. It was great to meet and make new friends over interesting conversations, exceptional food, and a lot of Tsipouro.
What’s Next
We still have more features to add for version 7! In fact, we just released our first bug fix release (7.0.1), so check for updates!
We are also planning to have a few more live webinars next year. If you have an idea for a webinar, let us know!
Finally, we will be reconnecting with all gnome family members that have long been thought lost.
