Hi,
Please find attached, two point hotspots that have a delay in opening the next nodes preview image so giving a callout effect.
To add them to Pano2VR 6 download the components and double click. You will be asked which category to save them to.
You can save to the User Defined category or create a new category.
Once saved open Pano2VR and the skin editor, select the components toolbox and the category you save them to. Double click to add the component to your skin.
They are made from rectangles, text boxes and a node image as well as one SVG which is the checkmark used for visited nodes.
This means using the colour tool you can change any of its colours.
However to change the colour of the node images border you need to look at the CSS Styles, this uses hex, so #ff0000 = Red.
The following image is from the circle callout node image.
You will see it has the colour but also it has the radius setting 999 to make the node image a circle. The overflow hidden stops any part of the node image showing outside of the radius.
To change the border colour simply change one of the other elements colours, the colour picker will show the hex value, just copy this to the CSS text field of the node image.
There is one that has a rectangle callout:
And one which has a circle callout:

Hopki

Hi,
Yes, you can use placeholders to pick up the hotspots title and description text fields to be displayed in the callout.

Hi Hopki,
I am new to Pano2vr. I have not logged enough hours to develop the brain memory for these skins. (Coming from PtP)
I just saw the circular_point_hotspot_inner_tooltip, I will try these as well. But I really would like to master the Callouts as quick as I can.
Is it possible to help me out with some dumbed-down instructions to get me going. I am working on a 50 pano tour around a shopping centre. I have been googling but not much to go on. By chance is there a webinar or 101 that goes over the fundamentals?
Thanks,
Metro

Hi Hopki,
I have a few questions.
1. I am working with the callouts and was wondering if I changed the circular out and replaced with the rectangle. Will I lose all my hotspot points?
2. I have a Error:NetworkError: Failed to execute 'send' on 'XMLHttpRequest': Failed to load 'https://abcd.efg.ca/'
I want it to go to a website on click. It shows this error above.
As well, I followed the video tutorial (https://youtu.be/jGwZCUTAHn0?t=991) to play a movie on file and I received a similar error as above. I am working in a skin I made after following a webinar re: Grid Menu Toggle, Menu Scroller.
I tried to have a pop up website box by deleting the _self and clicking on the Edit Skin Config icon. It does not show the same GUI as in the video. It only shows a small rectangle box with Skin Parameters > Enter menu title:
I hope I did not screw up some things in my skin.
Is there a limit on how many skins can be in a project? Just stuff it all in to one skin?
Thanks!
Metro

Hi Metro,
You can change the shape of the callouts but be mindful of the CSS that controls the radius.
The network errors sound like the normal local file security that comes from the browser.
What should happen is you can see the output ok when opened with Pano2VR as it has a built-in webserver.
But you will get an error if you try and open the HTML file directly from the output folder.
Please see our FAQ link about this.
You can also use our free desktop application: https://ggnome.com/ggpkgviewer/
If you still have issues please post your skin so we can take a look at it.

Thanks Hopki,
Got it all sorted out! It is a big learning curve.
