Trying to make a VR tour with V7. The 4 nodes are stereo over/under panos. Under Web Output Properties, selected and enabled venis_vr.ggsk or feather_vr.ggsk; Control tab shows Add Fullscreen and Add VR enabled.
Viewing the output via the 'ssl' mode of integrated web server, with a Quest 2 on LAN, see no buttons at all, just the hotspots.
Browser does complain about server certificate but allows to connect by https.
What gives?

UPDATE

I have now put the tour on an ssl-enabled website (url: https://tks-vr-tours.s3.us-east-1.amazo ... index.html)
As on my LAN, it shows no buttons, only the hotspots -- which however now appear in the VR hmd as rotating spheres. Some progress.
Messing with the VR controllers I found that one of the buttons brings up a context menu, with items 'enter fullscreen' and 'enter VR'.
Both of those work.

Why on earth would you publish a VR skin without an 'Enter VR' button?
Please give explicit instructions for putting one into the VR skins, as I find the skin editor utterly baffling.
Also for making it change to an "Exit VR" button once you are in VR.

Thanks,

Hi, Thomas.

The EnterVR button needs to be applied to the general skin. All of our new skins have EnterVR buttons. The project you've linked to has no general skin applied.

Here are instructions for adding an EnterVR button to existing skins and how to add a VR skin to a project: https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/export/o ... export-vr/

Thanks, Karyn (and Merry Christmas!)
So why is there a special VR output panel with special VR skins? Are they meant to be applied in addition to a skin selected on the right?
I do dig the spherical thumbnail hotspots & am looking forward to making true VR tours with P2VR 7,

OK, getting better.
I added a regular skin and now there are buttons in the tour.
And it does play on the LAN using the https mode of the integrated server.
But the data transfer rate is incredibly slow -- is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Sorry for the late response! I see you've got the tour working!

In case you didn't get the data rate to move faster, check the Speed Limit and make sure it's set to none. That should speed up the data transfer rate.

(Merry Christmas, Tom! :) )
