Image Popup Area Hotspot in HTML5 not working

Like others I've read every blog, viewed videos (multiple times) and downloaded every sample. Good news is the pano works in Windows, Android, and iPad - the gyroscope action is very cool. I can hotspot between panorarmas. And my image popup point hotspot works in flash (like the image popup with narration example) however my image popup point hotspot for the iPad shows the title only. The area hotspot between panos with gyroscope works, but you need to press the hotspot several times.

So my first question is I was wondering does the gyroscope action create an issues with area hotspots.

Thanks again for all your support for us HMTL5 newbies.

Hi
This sounds like you have some mobile Safari unfriendly actions.
Try to avoid Hid, Show and Alpha, this causes mobile Safari to slow down.

Thank you for your quick response - what was funny after posting my question is the point hotspot opened on the iPad2 but only when it went to the nadir location by setting it down flat. Same thing happened on my coworkers iPhone4s - the image point hotspot opened when he set the phone down...

Might you have an example using the simplex skin which demonstrates the Set Element Scale instead of Show/Hide. Sometimes I learn quicker seeing the code in action.

Have a great day...

Hi
I have just posed a skin here: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... 928#p26053
You will see that any hide and show actions have been replaced by set element scale 0 to hide and set element scale to 1 to show.
