With V3 I could produce and run panos that would reliably run on just about anything. Now with V4 heavily aimed at future HTML5 integration and support it's all getting a little too unreliable to, erm, rely on.
Here's a simple tour I put together yesterday using the map skin that Martin put online:
http://www.stillmation.com/graslei_pano/
My win7 machine with firefox is really tardy with playback, the transitions between the panos are a dark grey mottled screen. No soft transition or loading.
A colleague tried on his MBA with Chrome and that was just causing major tiling issues. I tried on my MBA with Safari and it runs fine.
My Ipad runs it fine, his Nexus 7 doesn't.
Now I'm just output the HTML5 version, no Flash fallback as that just seems to stop the map working.
I do hope a definitive list of optimum settings for all platforms is high on the priority list because I cannot use the software in this state for client work
Cheers, Rob.
