Hotspot popups on/off

I´m working on a project where I have hotspots. When entering the mouse in the hotspot area a popup window with additional informations opens.
My costumer asked me to make this feature switchable.
The project is multirow with two viewstates already. Filesize and loading time is critical already.
The only possibility I have found up to now is to work with additional viewstates. But this would double filesize and loading time.

In Pano2VR it´s possible to turn on and turn off the hotspots by scaling them to zero. I have tried to find a similar solution in Object2VR, but up to now without success.

Currently you can not turn off the hotspots but you can make your own hotspot text window within the skin and turn this window on and off. The cursor would still change but you don't get the tip text.
