I have someone who wants a skinny (toothbrush type thing) object photographed. Anyone have any suggestions for getting it to stand up and motionless while turning the manual turntable?
also, it has clear portions to it. What background would work best?

On my object turntable I have a thick black cardboard cover on the top. I have used a dressin pin pushed through from underneath and stuch in the bottom of the object. This will only work if you can stick a pin into it or the customer will let you.
If the object is magnetic a strong magnet under the turntable may work.
