Hello,

how do I activate "stare navigation" in Pano2VR7 for the entire tour in VR on the Quest 2 and totally deactivate the navigation via controllers?

Can someone please give me a hint on how to do it or where I can find more information about changing the navigation input?

Best regards,
Ping

Hi Ping,
This is not a function of Pano2VR, if you disable the hand controllers then I think, without testing on the Quest 3, but did on the Quest, reverts to stare navigation.

Hi Hopki,

thanks for the reply.
How do I disable the hand controller in Pano2VR?
I would like to use the "stare navigation" as kind of a kiosk mode.
So the user can navigate, but can't leave the tour, without using the controller.

Thanks and greetings

Hi,
As said this is not a function of Pano2VR.
Try removing the batteries of the Quest hand controllers, with no hand controllers the headset should default to stare navigation.

Hello Hopki,
ok, I understand, unfortunately you can't preset the navigation options.
In order to use "stare navigation", hand tracking and the controllers must be deactivated every time the tour is presented to inexperienced VR users. Unfortunately, this is not possible on location.
Thanks for the info.
Kind regards,
