Hello,
  • Built the menu with cloner.
  • Ticked the "Auto Size" settings for a cloner. So that if i have long title, the title text wraps nicely 2 or even 3 lines.
  • The menu is great like this. Because u can enter however long title u want without breaking the menu
However, if another translation is loaded and the title text in that translation is longer or shorter, the cloner does not auto-adjust :( :(

Hence it seems i can not use the new "Auto Size" feature and have to make menus with fixt-height-buttons like 5 years ago :(

Or maybe there is a workaround for multilanguage tours..? Hope there is.

"Cloner" > "Auto size" also does not work well if the cloner is 100% and u change the view width.

Hey Iveerde,

If I were in this situation, a workaround that I would try would be to have 3 separate menus, each with only one of the three languages, and then set a visibility logic block that activates based on what language is being used. It is not the most elegant solution, but it will guarantee that the menu items will always be spaced out correctly.

Thanks,

Hi,
Thinking about this, you can have each text box say 40px high, but text alined centred vertically.
This will allow more text over two rows when needed.
See project attached.

Oh my god!!!
Remove element and add element
It works :) :) 🎉🎊🍾👯‍♀️
What a joy! I had it done just as your previous post (fixed height and 2 rows max inside it) but now i will change all of that so that the menu items can take as much text as needed without changing the padding. Just as it should.
Thank you, Martin.
