I've read your plugin contains an elementor. I've installed the plugin and activated but can't find the widget. Any idea?

Hi,
Have a look at this webinar video: https://youtu.be/9F5H7kXzFpk?t=2897
The video should open at the right place.

Hopki, the problem is: there is no widget in my elementor installation. I installed the garden gnome WordPress plug-in from the Wordpress repository and it’s activated. But no widget in elementor! Everything is up to date.

Hi,
So when you type in Garden Gnome you do not see the Garden Gnome Package in the list.

Hummm,
Is it available if you use the classic editor?
Once the plugin is installed in WordPress then any plugin should be available to Elementor as well.
Are there any other plugins not showing up but showing in the classic editor?

Did you install Elementor before or after the Garden Gnome Plugin, did you install the plugin from the WordPress plugin store?
Not come across this before so please can you give as much information as possible?

in classic editor I can see it.
all other plugin widgets are showing.
Elementor was installed before, Wordpress store right.

my suggestion would be elementor changed the widgets requirements. But I'm not a coder.

Hi,
Scratching our heads here as this is very odd.
Resurching this I came up with a few people asking teh same question about other plugins.
The answer on the boards was:
You can find community help from here: https://forum.elementor.com/
Or directly contact their support here: https://elementor.com/support/

As it works for all others I know using Elementor it may be a local issue which their support can help with.
Sorry as we would like to help more but this is an odd one.

Found the culprit. It interfering with The Plus Addons for Elementor. I will report to them.
How can I find the id if I want to use the shortcode?

Thanks. Haven’t had a look at the whole video as it’s too time consuming. I like written documentation more :-)

just for the record: The plus addons features a widget manager which allows to disable unwanted widgets in elementor. the ggnome was disabled.

It had to be something like this as this is not something we have control over.
But many thanks for clarifying what the issue was.
