Hello
Is it possible to pass panorama name by hovering over image in thumbnail menu to custom texfield?
I created my MyCustomTextField
In thumbnail menu on humbnail NodeImage I created this Action:
Source: Mouse Over
Action: Set Value
Value: $hs or $ut (I tried both)
Target: MyCustomTextField
But it doesn't work
Is there any other way to achieve this?
I'd like to make that users can see panorama names when hovering over images in thumbnail menu
Thanks,
Regards

HUmmmm,
This sounds familiar.
Have I not answered this elsewhere, support e-mail?
If not let me know.
Cheers,
Hopki

Hi guys,
it was me asking the same question about a year ago via support email. Here is the issue https://ggnome.com/bt/view.php?id=1651
As I can understand, it is still not solved, at least I can't get it working.

Hi
Anything similar I could remember is that I've asked about passing values into skin via URL parameter.
Although any way of passing variables would be OK
This one is still on hold, waiting Thomas to respond.
Related to this topic, I can see it in action here:
http://skins.360panotours.com/panoramas ... index.html
Note how when hovering over thumbnails it displays pano title in text above thumbs.
I hope that this one isn't achieved by manually entering pano names in the skin.

Hi Guys,
You can add a tool tip inside the cloner which can then pick up the user data title.
Please see project attached.

Hopki

This works only inside the thumbnail area? And what if the title is long? No solution how to move the title out of the thumbnail stripe?
Hello
Sry for late reply I was away from office so I couldn't test it before.
Although I've managed to make it working with your suggestion, thanks, my conclusion is exactly the same what Jare said.
Problems: small thumbnails cannot accommodate larger titles.
So solution to move it out from thumbnail menu would be much better.
Thanks,

Hi,
Ill have to write up a feature request for this as how this works now is the names are copied and hard written into the text boxes in the cloner.
Doing what you request will requite a place holder so the text can be dynamically written on mouse over which is not possible now.

Hopki

Hi Guys,
I just checked, it still an active feature request, so not forgotten and still on the developers radar.
The New Silhouette_V6 skin has the skin option to show tooltip text with the thumbnail menu.
How this works is the full thumbnail is used for the text.
May not be the same thing but at least you can display a bit more text.

Hopki
