Hi there:
When porting a desktop-based web app to the iPad I discovered that certain actions available in pano2VR no longer work on ios7/Safari.
Case in point is toggling auto rotation on and off. On my MacBook I simply used a click to accomplish this.
Unfortunately, on the iPad the toggle action can no longer be used. I thought I could use two identical icons, one to turn auto rotation on and one to turn it off, and make them visible/invisible in turn, but that would require attaching more than one action to the same event (click), which I haven't been able to do using the pano2VR interface. I could use two separate icons, but that would break my user interface and would look ackward.
Has anyone here found a solution for this problem?
Thanks,
Franco

Hi,
Please see attached video: To watch the video right click and select fullscreen, then you can see the play button. Press esc to exit.
You will see me open the page, and then click the toggle auto rotate button. The last thing I do is interrupt the rotation and then after the timer it starts agin.

Hopki

Yep, works nice on the video, thank you.
This particular configuration works for me as well. However, it is different from the one that didn't work yesterday in that I removed the ":hover" pictures. The iOS Safari dev docs do mention that there is no such thing as :hover and that a tap is not the same as a click. May be this was the issue. I am happy it works now, I am not going back and check
In any event, thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it.
Best,
Franco
