Hi,
I'm on windows 7 64bits and since yesterday I've got a strange problem.... I can't open my panos done with 4.0 beta2 in my navigator in order to test them, it went well before but since yesterday it's impossible to do. I tried with Chrome, Firefox, IE and there's no way to open them. I think that Flash 11.3 is the problem.... Is there any solution to this problem ????

Here is a link : http://www.rothbach.com/vue1.swf the HTML 5 version works fine : http://www.rothbach.com/vue1.html

Thanks !

Jean

I just tried it with Flash 11.4 on IE and the pano still can't be loaded......

Interesting - I am looking with PC Vista - IE 9 and Flash 11.4.402.265.

when clicking on vue1.swf and .html links I see a black screen. When I right mouse click on black screen I see Err msg "Movie Not Loaded" and
my flash version 11.4

Might check...
1. Flash Output /HTML\ tab [ ] is not enabled.
2. HTML5 Output /HTML\ tab "flash fall back" file name spelling is correct.
3. vue1.swf is uploaded in proper folder Path on server.

Your Flash file is 120kb in size.
This means you haven't uploaded fully (failed to completely upload via FTP)
or you have externalised your cube faces and they are not linked correctly or they them self haven't been uploaded.

Check your file on the server and compare the file sizes to the original flash file.

I've re installed Pano2vr 4beta2 but it did not solve the problem, I've installed Pano2vr 3 version, and the problem was the same, the only thing that changed on the version 3 is that i could load the swf pano directly with Flash player 9, but it did not work on my navigators....

Yes the files are externalized like i usually do, I tried to test with a simple Flash pano without externalization, something very simple and it did not work.....could not be loaded also everything was in one single file. here the link : http://www.dosta360.net/vue1_out.swf (8 mb)

Something strange is that I've made panoramas (3 month ago) with the Pano2vr 3 version, using the same method as i usually do and it was ok, ex : http://www.suss.dosta360.net/showroom.html or http://www.suss.dosta360.net/showroom.swf (the only difference with before is that here I forced the priority of swf file (prefer swf file...) in the HTML 5 version.

Hi,

I tried it on an other way, I took the 3.1.4 version of Pano2VR and tried to open a 4.beta.2 pano file which caused me trouble AND it went well but the result, when I recreated the swf file throw the 3.1.4 version, was the same, the swf could not be loaded.... :(

Than I tried to recreate a fresh file directly with the 3.1.4 version, and again, the swf could not be loaded :(

After that I tried it on an other way, I took a panorama I've done in June with the 3.1.4 version, I open it and I changed the image and I putted in the same settings and the same skin as in the 4.beta2... and it worked the swf file could be loaded !!

It's strange, I can't understand what happened, does anyone have an idea about this problem ?

Hi,
Try just producing a page out of Pano2VR with Flash fallback, does it work?

Hi ! :D
I understood what happened with pano2VR. As solution you can do this :
First copy and save the skin folder (C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\GardenGnomeSoftware \Skins) on your desktop.

Then uninstall completely Pano2VR, and erase every Pano2VR folder including the GardenGnomeSoftware folder in C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\GardenGnomeSoftware…
You must be sure there is no more Pano2vr file on your computer (except the skin folder on your desktop)

After that, reinstall Pano2vr and everything will be ok, don’t forget to copy your skins in the new skin folder.

If it’s not ok, it’s because you forgot to erase a pano2VR file.
