Hi,

This is the first time I'm using the Tour Map in the V5 skin-editor. I've searched the forum but I'm surprised that nobody is mentioning it.
So I think I'm missing a setting or something .....

Problem is that I can't see a map in the "Tour Map" window. Not with Google maps and not with the other mapping services. The screen is gray.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro x64

Hi Arjan,
This requires an internet connection.
Please check you don't have a firewall blocking Pano2VR.
Other than that it should display.

Tried that, off course, I was an Internet Security Consultant for 10 years and had to debug these kind off issues with firewalls, but I made absolutely sure the windows firewall is shut down and I'm running Avast Premier that is (for testing) also completely shut down. No joy :( ....

Tried 3 machines (all windows 10).

The map picker I did use and is still functioning is the one in V4. When you edit the User Data, you can fill in the coordinates.

Anything else I can try ? Are there users that are on Windows 10 with no problems showing a map ?

I think I found the problem. When starting a tour from scratch the mapfunction is working. It stops working when using a minus "-" in the node-name.

Default node names are named like ... node1, node2, node3

But .... I've converted my old V4 config files (1 config file per node) to the V5 config file with 1 config file per tour. The node-names I have used are actually the filenames of the V4 config-files with
the pattern "<company-name>-<unique-number>". In the V4 style config you had to link to the <panorama-name>.swf to go from one to another panorama. I've used these links in my conversion script to name the nodes. With bigger tours where different companies are involved it was not possible to number the nodes like ... node1, node2, node3 etc. because there are multiple number 1's etc.
