Re: How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
While I can use Samsung Internet Browser to goto a website and show a Pano2VR panorama, I can't make it go fullscreen/all around you/immersive. How do you do that? Do you have an example of a webaddress with a tour that does open fullscreen? Another issue: until Pano2VR supports WebVR, only the phon...

Re: Best settings for Gear VR
According to Oculus, the best resolution for the Gear VR is using a tilesize of 1536 pixels for cube images, with a FOV of 90 degrees for S6/S7, around 96 for Note4. 360Texas: are you referring to that 'insect mesh screen grid' as seen in every Oculus app? Ie: device related, or in some apps specifi...

Re: How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
Inspired by the lack of a good VR tourviewer I'm designing an Android app to view Pano2VR tours for the Samsung Gear: VR Tourviewer It's in alpha stage now, meaning it's used for testing basic functionality and still misses a lot of features. Users of this forum can join in testing this app. Due to ...

Use Timer to goto next stereo panorama
I've tried using a Timer to go to the next stereo panorama, but it only loads the next panorama in the right eye view.
I'm not using autorotate/autochange node, because I only want the first panorama to display for a few seconds as intro.
Is there a way to do this for both sides?

Re: 4K Resolution Pano
Yeah, you should use 12k for a display FOV of 120 degrees (which is a third of 360 degrees, 12k/3=4k).
Here's some explanation: http://www.360heros.com/2015/02/4k-vr-3 ... roduce-it/
It's about 360 video but applies to still panoramic images as well.

Alt-click the cog-wheel, when you hover over it it shows the secret to generate all outputs.

Skin problem with stereoscopic image
The skin is displayed on both the left and right image, but when an item is hovered or clicked it only changes (for example for two-stated buttons) in one of the images. I'm using Pano2VR 5 Beta 4.
Can this behavior be linked for both images?

Feature request: Oculus/Gear VR cubemap input
Can you add the Oculus/Gear VR cubemap and stereo cubemap to the supported input types? It is recommened by Oculus because of the more even pixel density distribution compared to the equirectangular map type. The latest 3D rendering software (like VRay/Octane) can output to this maptype. Information...

Re: How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
Hi Svendus, In general it is running nicely on my Samsung Galaxy S6 too, although sometimes some jerky movement or 'laggy' response to the devices rotation can be seen. The iPhones gyro might be better than the S6's, that I don't know. But with the Gear VR you are extremely close to the image, you'r...

Re: How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
This is disappointing, when disabling the Oculus vrsvc to be able to be able to use the Chrome browser for true 360 panoramic viewing, the Gear's sensors aren't used anymore so tracking relies on the Galaxy S6 gyro sensor, which is noticably worse. Is there no way to use the high quality gyro of the...

Re: V5 VR HMD files and How to.
Thanks for your reply, I understand. I was looking for a way to switch to fullscreen when wearing the Samsung Gear VR. Instead of using a button in the skin editor, I've now tried to add a hotspot with Link Target Type: 'URL', Link Target URL: 'javascript:containerFullscreen();' and Target: '_self' ...

4) Add the stare skin and add a button that will switch back to the normal mode with the action: Source: Mouse Click Action: Go To URL URL: index.html Target: _self When in VR (stereo) mode, how to add a button to the skin that can be 'stared' at? The button always stays relative to the screen (loc...

How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
I've bought a Gear VR(v2) especially to be able to show my clients Pano2VR tours, but I can't get it to work properly. What's the best way to see a Pano2VR tour on this device? When I use the integrated VR Web browser (Oculus software) I can browse to the page with the tour but it will only show the...

Re: Wordpress dropdown menu z-index issue
I've found a workaround for the issue (at least for my own use) by modifying the z-indexes of pano2vr_player.js inside the .ggpkg file. Then I don't have to worry on which page the panorama is placed (for delivery to client for example) and don't have to add custom CSS style overrides. I've changed ...

Re: Wordpress dropdown menu z-index issue
In this case I think it's the ggpkg, but probably only in combination with certain z-indexes in the used theme. The main div that contains the divs with class "ggskin" and the canvas has an inline set z-index of 1000. If I set that z-index manually (Firebug) to 0 the WordPress menu works f...
