Re: Color management
I don't know if green is the right word, it is a feeling, but you should see on the screen shot that the sky has a different color in the pano than in the jpg. If I softproof the jpg in PS I have same result as you. My understanding is that in Firefox the color profile is managed for jpg but not for...

Re: Color management
I totally agree with you about 2408 and the calibration process is the same with Spyder : adjust RGB with onscreen menu and let sensor do its work. I have done it again from scratch and nothing changes.

Re: Color management
Here is a screen copy, pano is left, image right :
I hope I don't take too much of your time but a last thing I ask is your calibration parameters, I use with Spyder3Pro gamma 2.2 and 6500 K
Thanks

Re: Color management
If it were a calibration problem the image will never display properly, here jpg displays perfectly, hence I guess it's a Flash issue. Which version of Flash do you have ? Mine is 10.0.42.34 on Mac OS 10.6.2

Re: Color management

Do you mean you have the exactly the same color of sky for image and pano ?
On my monitor the pano sky is much greener.

Re: Color management
Does your monitor have such an option in the shape of a hardware button or in the on-screen menu? It has in the on-screen menu but it looks terrible. In fact I work all day long in wide gamut mode, as long as you have a good calibration and you use color-managing applications like Photoshop and Fir...

Re: Color management
Color management has always been a difficult topic, thank you to participate. I will try to be more precise. A few softwares like Photoshop and Firefox (after enabling gfx.color_management.mode) are able to display the image accurately, converting from embedded profile to monitor profile if necessar...

Re: How to locate hotspots ?
We had a successful discussion with hopki and some other fellows, then you step in with stupid advices like "change software". If that is not rude I don't know what rude means.
As I usually don't feed trolls I will stop answering to you. Period.

Smooth, If you only intend to be unfair and rude don't participate to this thread.
Hopki tries to help and is very welcome, as would be thomas.
My questions may bother you but answers benefit to all who like me migrate from QTVR.

Re: How to locate hotspots ?
Smooth, you are unfair, my first reply to Hopki was "thank you".
And yes I think it is too much work to have to define area AND point hotpot for same location, pano2vr should provide a way to display information that it already has.

Re: Color management
My pano images displays perfectly well in Photoshop, Firefox or any software that manages color profiles, the issue is with Flash. Adobe claims that Flash 10 manages color but pano2vr created panos don't display properly.

Re: How to locate hotspots ?
Up to 40, what I would like is a way to display the PNG that defines hotspots as an overlay, like in QTVR.

Re: How to locate hotspots ?
Thank you Hopki for your help, I didn't know the %Symbol trick. Your solution works but is neither quick nor easy :
- I have to define a point hotspot for each area hotspot, that's a lot of work
- the point hotspot image is so blurred I can't locate where to click
