Re: My Previous Specific Navigation Issues - YMMV
Thanks, but without a few more 'Yes's to the questions, what is there for me to actually test? :? If you said you'd all made big changes and it needs destruction testing in that area, that's a better incentive and worth spending some time checking out. I'll keep reading the release notes for updates...

Re: My Previous Specific Navigation Issues - YMMV
Martin, OK, thanks for replying, and it's good that Diagonal FoV is now the default, but that also worked fine on V6 once you remembered to select it. The problem was that doing that caused it to go a bit whoozy on Zoom Transitions. The short(er) version of your reply reads like: No change plus maña...

My Previous Specific Navigation Issues - YMMV
Hi Martin, It's been a while and then I see that V7 Beta is out and there are new Tutorials. :) Upgrade cost is €100, so I'm just wondering if some of the issues I had with V6 are now resolved to convince me I need the upgrade. I skimmed the new videos and it all looks great with unfolding lines etc...

Re: Tip: Improve quality of your 3D Distorted images with simple change
When I tested the 'Use Width/Pi as Output Factor' option it did nothing at all with Single-Res Images. Not a pixel's difference in output images, so not for me. I presume it's just for Multi-Res, tiles. Although dividing the width of your panorama by 3.142 seems a little weird when making tiles for ...

Re: Why is it that Pano2VR sucks at compressing PNG files?
If your image is a nice simple rectangle (not like the OP's boat example) use JPGs, where you can select the quality/compression.

Tip: Improve quality of your 3D Distorted images with simple change
tl;dr: just change the number in the image to something higher  If you've noticed that your 3D distorted images look blurrier than the background they're sitting on, this may help. I've been using 3D distorted images as hotspots - rings and circles on floors etc. that stay attached to the gro...

Re: Delay the transitions wile loading the next panorama
Whether or not we get a simple delay component for the whole panorama, I've bodged together something to make the hotspots fade up here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15233 You can create the component yourself and share it. You don't have to wait for it. Do you see the inherit contradiction in your post...

Re: Bug? Player Width/Height is different in Firefox/Chrome/IE
Well, I'm not sure it's always as easy as you say. I have learned a lot since I designed that site almost 10 years ago. I have asked questions, studied, learned from my mistakes, and listened. My current projects are far more robust and mobile-friendly. With a little luck, I will be able to replace...

Re: Devices, big issue when entering full screen mode
I am more than surprised about this full screen mode issue which is still ongoing on my devices and on -most- of some friends of mine devices  Could any of the devices have a display setting >100% or <100% anywhere? To see what can really harsh your mellow, view on a PC (I'm using Firefox) a...

Re: Tip: Fadeup Hotspots Alpha at Node Change to look better
Martin's confirmed it's not a bug as such ; you actually just shouldn't be allowed to select a Transition on a Hotspot Template in the first place, as they're not treated quite the same as other things. Maybe the Transition option will be greyed out for them in a future point release; or not, as no ...

Re: Bug? Player Width/Height is different in Firefox/Chrome/IE
The browser scale feature is there for accessibility by those with sight issues. Its purpose is to make everything larger so that they can see it. Sorry, that messes up your layout. Allowing you to override what they want and need defeats the purpose of having it. Last, slow down on calling everyth...

Re: Bug? Player Width/Height is different in Firefox/Chrome/IE
For anyone out there that is using Internet Explorer, as in IE11. Upgrade now. Switch to Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. IE is not safe for general use anymore. It does not follow standards, it's usage is insignificant and it should not be used for web development. Is this really too hard a concept for y...

Re: Bug? Player Width/Height is different in Firefox/Chrome/IE
 What you just posted is literally how scaling works. Windows-based programs get the screen width and height from Windows, not the monitor. You can change the report resolution by either scaling or changing the value in the "display resolution" setting. If you tell windows to scale ...

Re: Bug? Player Width/Height is different in Firefox/Chrome/IE
A link to your (test-) project would be good, because we should be able to see it and to test it... You can: Open up your own project in different browsers. Nothing special about mine. Even with the desktop set to the default 100%, it's still different in IE compared to the others. Likely other bro...
