Re: Snow ***
I disagree that it would not be useful for business application. But it depends on what you're trying to sell. Lens flares also partly obstruct the product image but they add a lot to the experience. Snow can do the same in images that are suitable for it, panoramas of a ski resort for example. It's...

Re: Google Analytics: Suggestion
You can add fields in the template that can be filled in inside Pano2VR, so you don't need 50 templates. Based on normal.ggt, copied to normal-analytics.ggt and edited. In the section that says 'Create the form in the HTML dialog box' the fields that are visible in Pano2VR are added, commented with ...

Re: Stereographic (little planet) projection black
Indeed it works, what an awesome feature!!! Note: for stereoscopic panorama's the projection can only be changed for the left eye but doesn't allow to zoom out very much, right view doesn't change projection. Projections not supported for stereoscopic panorama's? I don't need it for work, but I'm ju...

Re: How to get a Stereo Pano from VR Stripe? (5.1beta)
Hi Micha, The example above is from me, I rendered the image with VRay but chose 'Spherical' as camera type, with an Override FOV of 360. Together with the VRayStereoscopic Helper you then get an image with two equirectangular images next to each other. I've split these with Photoshop and saved them...

Re: Stereographic (little planet) projection black
It's a tour made with equirectangular panorama images as source, output to HTML 5,with a single res cubeface size of 1536px. HTML file: normal.ggt, enabled gyro.

Stereographic (little planet) projection black
When switching a projection from Rectiliniear (in FireFox 49.0.1, HTML5 output from Pano2VR 5.1 beta Pro) to stereographic or fisheye projection the image turns black and stays that way. Only when switching back to Rectiliniear the panorama shows again. How can this be fixed? Edit: same problem in C...

Re: offline viewing for Samsung Gear VR
Hi Stu, I'm developing an Android app for viewing Pano2VR tours (krpano support is planned too) on the Gear VR: VR Tourviewer. It's still in alpha stage, but it's available for testing. It currently works with mono and stereoscopic Pano2VR tours, hotspots (only to other nodes), lensflares (only one ...

Re: VRay 6x1 Cube
Vray outputs the 6x1 strip (and 12x1 for stereo) in native Oculus/Gear VR format, in the following way: Gear-VR-6x1-strip.jpg To confirm this, simply copy this example strip to your Oculus\360Photos folder on your device and view it with the GearVR. It would be very convenient if Pano2VR could use t...

I think you have to use the 'Position' anchor set to center.

Re: Best settings for Gear VR
Here's a strip to show how it's done. You can easily confirm this working properly by uploading the image to your Oculus 360 Photos folder.

Re: Best settings for Gear VR
It's indeed not very straightforward (and that's an understatement...) The strip has to be formatted in a specific order. Also, you have to mirror the original equirectangular panorama horizontally before converting to cubefaces with Pano2VR. From Pano2VR output, cubeface numbers 0-5, use the follow...

Re: How to see tour on Samsung Gear VR
I've made a short screencapture of the Gear VR Tourviewer app that I'm developing. Currently it supports hotspots/hotspot titles/lensflares (one type) and stereoscopic tours. It uses output straight from Pano2VR, (HTML5 > Images > Single Res, with a 1536 tile size). The app only needs the url to the...

Re: Best settings for Gear VR
With FOV I only meant the field of view as measured from the eye to the edges of the Gear 'screen', not a FOV for photographing imagery for VR. I'm using the Image > Single Res output of Pano2VR with a tilesize of 1536 to generate the cube sides for viewing with the Tour app, which works well. You c...
