Panomachine for sale
Hi All, It's been a while since I have posted on the forum. My business has taken a turn in other commercial photography directions and 360 work isn't something I've been looking for in the last few years. As I result I'm reluctantly going to sell my Panomachine robotic head. This thing has been all...

Re: Experiences with Ricoh Theta V
I just unpacked and quickly tested the ThetaV Certainly better detail in the shadows than the S. I'll have to try the one Hopki suggests too. I'm also really curious how the GoPro 360 Fusion will be, (apart from a lot more expensive) BTW, the ThetaV I bought was from cameratools.nl. € 329,75 during ...

Re: Experiences with Ricoh Theta V
I have a couple of ThetaS here. Pretty poor for anything inside unless there is a lot of light. The ThetaV arrives here tomorrow with the promise of better detail in the dark areas. I'm curious. The same issue with the V and the S will be the stitch line. If anything is close to the camera there wil...

Re: Nikon 8-15mm
I use a min of 6 shots for a 180x360 with the 10.5mm. Lightroom tweaks, Stitched in PTgui It reduces deformation a lot, the more images used. I've a robotic head that does the 32shot setups, great for the aircraft interiors I do. I've the Theta too, but sadly doesn't cut it for image quality for the...

Re: Nikon 8-15mm
Yes I know that, and that's what I do with a multitude of lenses already. Up to 32 images for ultra high res 360x360 images. I was at the Nikon office today and asked about the lens, my NPS man suggested it would be good for my work, better than the dated 10.5 and way better than the old 16mm. We ha...

Nikon 8-15mm
Hi all,
Anyone using the Nikon 8-15mm for work?
I'm still using the 10.5mm but as all my cameras are now FX bodies, I'm thinking about the 8-15mm for the D850.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Gigapixel panning - iOS
Nobody a clue why this is happening?
I'll stick some controls on the skin and send to the client like that then.

Re: Offline Panos using iPad ?
I used to use Goodreader app for this. A few years ago I was having the same problem. Goodreader would unzip a Zip folder containing the HTML project and play it perfectly. The only addition needed was a close button on the main pano interface to tell Goodreader to quit what it was doing and return ...

Gigapixel panning - iOS
Hi All, After a while away doing the photographic stuff, I'm getting back into presenting 360 work to clients. I've been making gigapixel images for a while and need to present one to a client with the possibility of using on mobile devices. Flat output in 5.01 pro to HTML is dead straight forward a...

Re: Object2vr - Responsive
A client has asked for the 360 objects Im shooting to display well on desktop as well as mobile. Am I correct in what I've been reading on the forum, that Object2VR can't create a responsive (screen scaleable) output yet. However, if the output is displayed in an iFrame, that can be used to scale th...

Hi All.
Do we actually have a way yet of including 360 video in a Virtual tour?

Re: MINI Cooper - 5 Door
You mentioned "I would much rather present the product to a client on a tablet with gyro enabled and let them marvel at the fact you can immerse yourself that way." I hope your client does not lay their tablet on a table. As I recall, gyro effect would be the panorama pitches straight dow...
