HI
I could do with a little help with point hotspots.
I am aiming to have an area of a panorama which calls the functions of a point hotspot. so far i have done it using a box in the skin that is not visible and large enough co roughly cover an area when linked but i would like to have it a little more exact. eg as the mouse goes over a picture in the pano a popup image appears.
is it possible to make an area hotspot activate a point hotspot?
Many thanks
Alex

Hi, not quite sure what you are asking as an area hotspot and point hotspots are two different things.
However you can get an area hotspot to interact with an element in the skin editor using Proxy’s.
Area hotspots have numbers for IDs, so the first area hotspot will be 1 the second will be 2 and so on.
Import a picture in the skin editor, set Alpha to 0, self.
Set its actions to mouse enter change alpha to 1, self and mouse leave change alpha 0, self.
In the Proxy box enter 1, the ID of the first area hotspot.
What will happen is when you mouse over the area hotspot the picture will change its alpha so it will become visible and on mouse leave hide again.
Hope this helped
