I just created a presentation with iBooks Author with your widget.
I have the problem that is not supported later on the iPad 4, the Gyroscope function. Of course I have to check "Include gyroscope control" enabled. Where could I still have installed a mistake.
Thank you very much ........

Hi,
Test this and all works for me?
New download of Pano2VR 4.5.
Go to the iBooks Tip and download the iBook GGT and add to templates directory.
Build pano with iBooks GGT with Gyro selected.
Open iBooks Author and drop in Widget, plugin iPad and click preview.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi,
Some thing is going wrong as the pano2vrgyro.js is missing from your wdgt.
Please find attached my wdgt which works ok. If you right click / ctrl click on my wdgt then click show package contents you will see the pano2vrgyro.js file.
This is missing in your project.
All I can suggest is make sure you have the latest iBook.ggt download from the iBook tip just encase your one is older or broken.
Regards,
Hopki

Hello Hopki,
now I have my iBook so far completed and put now iBooks crash constantly. Is it even possible to create a stable iBook for spheres. And why does not work the presentation on a MacPro or MacBookPro?
Has ever a iBook works with Pano2VR?
It's pretty frustrating ....... sorry

Hi Patrick,
How far have you got with this. The iBook widget works ok for me.
Just make sure when your publish you get the file names correct and the preview image is the correct size 1024 x 768 and file type.

Hopki

Hello Hopki,
after a little break I am working again with the theme iBook.
My computer is completely new instaled and now the widget with Gyroscope is developed. A miracle!
Now I want my work step by step go with you:
1. load of the widget and paste it into serving HTML5 folder
2. see image number 2
3. see image number 3
4. see picture number 4
......... The preview is 1024x768 and 2048x1536 pixels.
Is it possible the "Default.png" file (preview image) files from the package and change the size? I did that in this case!
Please check this file 1024.ibooks and 2048.ibooks! (Download Link)
http://kunden.PatrickJelen.de/1024.ibooks
http://kunden.PatrickJelen.de/2048.ibooks
This difference I do not understand! Why the Preview image affects the quality of the sphere?
In both versions iBooks crashes. However, the book then covers up to 20 spheres. I look at the 2048 iBook on my MacPro then the sphere is not shown! Why?

No idea?
The resolution of 1024 is shown on a MacPro, but not the resolution of 2048!!!!
It is pity, because you can make so nice things with this tool!
Is nobody else is using iBooks Author??????

Hi,
Use the multi resolution option. This way the full resolution of the panorama can be realised when you zoom.
With multi resolution the tiles for 1024 x 768 will be loaded so no crashing but as you zoom in better quality tiles will be loaded.
Please let me know how you get on.
Regards,
Martin

Basically everything now runs on the iPad 4 (iOS 8.1.1) and Pano2VR Version: 4.5.1
The following settings I used:
Cube Face Size: 1440
Windows Size: 2048 x 1536
The preview picture ( .png ) must have the same as the window size: 2048 x 1536
This settings works well for the iPad.
But it is still not working on MacPro/MacBookPro
