Hi all,
I've made a new prototype,
this time it's a test to see if masks could be used to hide/reveal parts of two panos stacked on top of each other.
It appears to be working, so please have a look here:

This means that animated masks should also work, something that could be used for quite interesting transitions I think!
Cheers!

Here's a version with a very fine 5/5 pixel vertical bar mask:

In an even finer configuration this technique could be used to show stereoscopic panoramas on a regular computer screen using a special 'lens' in front of the screen to direct each of the two panoramas to either your LHS or your RHS eye.
Who would have thought you could make this kind of thing using Pano2VR?
Here's a screenshot (originally 1920x1200):
And here a screenshot of a version with a 2/2 pixel mask:

Hi
Amazing. Didn't know this was even possible.
Could you hint me (the community) in the direction of how you realized this?
Which skin elements did you use (if any?)
cheers
