action 'Set Element Position' quesion?

action 'Set Element Position' I am trying to get a map radar to work and am failing. I can get it to rotate OK but getting it into position on the map for each hotspot clicked is a trial! I am using action 'Set Element Position' with offset x/y set to $self and Target = 'Radar' (name of the radar pn...

Re: Using skin hotspots to redirect

OK that set of files was helpful. BUT I have a radar img which is set correctly in place on start pointing in right direction and rotation as expected. When I click on the second hotspot (image) on the map I see the next swf pano load, but the radar disappears. I set it up exactly (as far as I can s...

Indepth tutorial or user manual

Is there a in-depth user manual for skins editing or a in-depth tutorial on using all the action states?
Seems like it's al down to trial and error which is rather time consuming.

Alpha state rate of change - can it be changed

Can the default alpha state rate of change be edited anywhere?
I am refering to the Action ChangeElementAlpha.
It seems a little slow to me and I would like to speed it up.

Using skin hotspots to redirect

I am getting there slowly! I have my project with two swf panos linking OK with pano hotspots back and forth. Now I want to add a map (image) to the skin and use hotspots on the map to link to the related swf pano. I added my map image and placed two hotspots, with on-click actions to open next pano...

Re: General advice for creating hi-resolution panos

Yes I have used focus stacking before and I know that is an option. But I suspect few use that tecnique. I know about dof but perhaps not in depth. I have seen gigapixel panos that have apparent clear focus on near and far distance and that is why am asking this question. To get detail and focus at ...

Re: derelict hospital panos

Your derelict room pano on gallery page one, thrid row down, second from left - I've seen that room before in an urbex photo, with a woman in a green dress. Do you know it? WHere is that place? The textures and colour tones everywhere are fabulous. Really well captured. I think that's my favorite on...

Re: derelict hospital panos

Frank - thanks for the details workflow. I appreciate that. I understand all you said. Are you familiar with the work of Jerremy Gibbs? He's a friend also into urbex photography. See his flickr page here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/romanywg/ I think you'd like his stuff. I am a fine art printer an...

Re: different information for different pano with one skin

This thread has been about the same thing I am attempting. I am quite new to this app and still getting to grips with it. I want to know how to have one web page with one swf pano/skin, with linked swf panos via hotspots, and each swf pano offering a different text display (as a png file in the skin...

Re: Avenue Nursery Virtual Tour

That's great - good job. I am very new to 360 panos and want to know how you created the site map with clickable hotspots. I need to do that for my projects too.
Your help and advice would be much appreciated.

text container toggle

I have a simple 360 pano with a skin kindly supplied by a forum user. It has an i (info) button ready to use. Currently it does nothing. I created a text container called userdata2 and set the i button action to toggle visability of userdata2. I thought that would make the text container called user...

Re: 2 linke panos not working

OK I finally figured what I was doing wrong. I have the viewing web page html in a different folder to the swf files. In the hotspot editor I need to remember to refer to the folder the swf will be located on the website. So - avebury-inner-72.swf needs to be refered to as ../swf/avebury-inner-72.sw...

Re: 2 linke panos not working

OK- well I am still having problems with this. I noted the last comment and reworked the files. I have two swf panos. First has a skin applied, and a rectangular hotspot pointing to a 2nd swf pano, located in the same folder. This second swf pano does not have a skin applied, and has a hotspot linki...
