Uploading and publishing in WordPress not working

Hi,
I have an upload and publish issue in WordPress. .ggpkg is not a standard accepted filetype in WP. I use https://wordpress.org/plugins/upload-fi ... gs-plugin/ to extend accepted filetypes. In one site this works OK and the uploaded ggpkg can be published using the short code. In my second site (different provider, same software environment of WP and plugins) at first I could't even upload. After a fix of my provider uploading is possible ('ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS', true in wp-config.php), but publishing not. When I manually put the shortcode in my page the following message is displayed: "GGPKG incomplete, XML file is missing".
In both situations the same output package is used. In the media manager a grey, empty icon is displayed which problably indicates that the ggpkg file is not recognized. Any ideas anyone? Is the server or PHP configuration blocking the processing of the .ggpkg?
