Hi there,
just found a topic from 2009 with a similar question, that wasn´t answered. So:
I do have an audio-control-panel within my skin. A play/pause-button and a stop-button.
After starting a media the play-button changes to pause (and vv) and when clicking on stop the play/pause-button shows play again.
No big deal.
Now I want to trigger the play/pause-button to show play again after the media (played just once) is over.
I tried a timer in length of the media, but with a loading delay due to bad connections the button changes while still playing the media.

What´s the smart way? (like: media over: hide pause + show play + stop media)

If you look at the Video File component this actually does this.
It only works with an MP4 or a URL. Not with YouTube or Vimeo.
But the video and seekbar elements and detect the video stop and with a deactivated action change graphics or activate any other action.
