In the past google said you have to use your Camera file name _MG_1270.jpg
But when working with 40+ files I find it easier to use the name associated with the picture example. Room 201.jpg or laundry.jpg or swimming pool.jpg
Will these file names be acceptable with Google Street View and leaving a space between Rome and 201

Google never sees your file names, because they are not used for the transfer. Use whatever you find most useful.
