Sound as a hotspot?

Dear all,
Dear Hopki,

I am working on a project for a close friend. He is running a nice little guitar shop.

I tried to add different sounds to a single panorama (e.g. 0 degree / 180 degree) did not work very well, I faced overlays. Even when reducing the sice of the sound area. This did not happen in the localhost during testing but e.g. in firefox

But more important, I wanted to add music / sound to various instruments as a hotspot. But only image, video and info are possible as far as I understand.

Anyone with an idea?

(move to second panorama in the background, this is with music at the moment)

Regards, Christof

I am using the latest version of Pano2VR, beta.

Hi
I like to use 2 sounds in my panoramas
Look for the example:
Two sounds - music and birds singing

To minimize sound mixing you should:
1. Place sounds at opposite corners of the node
2. Ambient set to 0
3. Minimize Horizontal size to avoid mixing

Yet one advice: Don't forget to use Direct node access for your multi-panorama tour. You will have direct URL for desired node (my example above) with this feature.

Concerning your question about playing sound in hotspot:
1. The very simple decision is to make simple video with static image of specified guitar + sound of this guitar
2. You can add HTML code in "Description" of Image Hotspot for playin sound

Code: Select all

<audio controls autoplay>
<source src="fender.mp3" type="audio/mpeg">
</audio>
Then add new element for displaying Description field in your skin.
I just checked this in my skin, sound plays, but it needs some add work to stop sound after closing image hotspot
