I have tried to use the google map and always got a blank white map with the text "map goes here" in the top left. I had been using Alpha = 1 or 0 to display the map. I ultimately discovered that the Alpha setting is creating this problem. If I use visibility on/off to display the map every thing works fine.

Hi Russ,
Iv never seen this before as I always use a rectangle to give the map element a background and then change the alpha of the rectangle.
This works fine, this also works if you use a container and set the alpha of this.
That said Ill add this as a bug and see what the devs say.
