Can someone please point me to Hopki's tutorial from a few months ago about designing pulsing / animated roundel hotspots in the Skin Editor? I've got issues with the animated SVG version I use not working in all browsers - especially in IE & Edge so want to design inside the skin. Here's my version:

Thanks
Stu

Seems Edge I only see the 2 ring hotspot. Its there but not animated.
Animated or pulsing hotspot in Chrome works well.

Hi Stu,
Heres the
page.
This can be found under Documents => 5.1 documents => Tips.
You should be able to get close to your SVG hotspot with this.

Perfect - thanks. Here it is working:

Note - a hotspot can't be activated if within the area of the drop-down menu, even though it is above the drop-down menu element in the Skin Editor tree - any ideas?

Hi Stu,
When you hide the menu, hide any containers that are left as this is what would be causing this.

Hi Martin,
I'm just using the standard settings from the Toolbox:
Is this not right?

Referring to the dropdown menu masking the ability to trigger a hotsot, as the action is a "toggle element visibility" action (as it uses the same button for both the "hide" and "show" as the toggle) - how can I sort this to hide the background / container so the hotspot works. This isn't so much of an issue on PCs / tablets as the drop-down menu only takes up a small portion of the screen top-left, but it is a real problem with smart phones where the menu takes up most of the screen real estate when shown.

Hi Stu,
If you just want the menu, then move the Dropdown Scrollarea out from all the other components.

If you now have a button to hide and show the Dropdown Scrollarea element then there is nothing to cover the mouse.
You can add a background to the Dropdown Scrollarea, but then make the Dropdown Scrollarea a child of the background element and then hide and show the background element.
