Hi All
I have just noticed since upgrading to windows 8.1 - I cannot seem to get the integrated server to connect\work. I have tried reinstalling software and restarting server in tools, Does anyone know a new security issue with windows 8.1 or a port setting that works ?
Thanks
Boothy

Local Configuration Fix for windows 8.1 and IE 11
Allow P2VR to open IE 11 and wait for it to fail to find the Integrated Server
Open the TOOLS menu in IE 11
Select INTERNET OPTIONS
Select SECURITY TAB
Select TRUSTED SITES
Select SITES
The URL of the Pano2VR Server should now be in the "Add this website to the zone:" dialogue box
you may have to "uncheck" the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone
Now click ADD
the Pano2VR url will now appear in the list of trusted sites.
Close IE 11
Restart the Pano2VR Integrated Server and IE 11 will now work

Be sure to have your forum user name and password handy.
May have been a coincidence but using IE 10 I made the above changes (thanks Roger) and closed and restarted IE 10 returned to the forum and had to login again. For last 5 years or so I have tried to 'remain logged in'.
Since we are using Win 8.0 we will probably auto-upgraded to 8.1 and IE 11. Maybe the IE 10 settings will roll over into IE 11.

Observation:
The Pano2vr Integrated Server was working. It actually was the browser performing as configured. Reconfigure the browser to make it work with pano2vr.
I have read here in the forum that Pano2vr was not performing and it must be a bug.
I put this in my LESSONS LEARNED BOOK - "fix the browser first" OR use a browser that does work !
