This should also be in the CMS plugins section of this forum. I got so crazy about not being able to upload to wp that I ran over here as fast as I could and posted to the very first category I saw. My bad.
Hello and thank you very much for permitting me to join the forum. I hope my questions are relevant. I have put together a Pano2VR file and I am excited to get it over to my WP site and to share with you what I have built. But, I cannot get the files to the appropriate directory.
I can get them here, 1 folder above,
but this is one folder above where they should go, here,
and these are the errors I am getting when I try to transfer them to the appropriate directory.
It does not want me to put them there for some reason. Do you or anyone else reading this have any solutions for this issue? I have changed permissions to the folder but that does not work. And short of that I do not know any other possibility. I am new to FileZilla so I might be doing something else wrong but I do not know what.
Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
Cannot Upload Image/Tile/Media Files to proper directory in WP
Hi RLemen,
there's a better way to show virtual tours and panoramas: Just use the WP-plugin and upload the ggpkg-file you can create.
Then go to the media in WP and insert the media into an article.
Best regards
Harald

But just as well, if there is a reason or solution to why I cannot access the actual file folder that requires the images, I would greatly appreciate a solution as I am going to be uploading many more nodes and this can't become a problem that needs a huge work around to fix.
THank you again for any assistance.

You must have done something wrong. You don't have to create a folder or to upload several files. Just upload the ggpkg within Wordpress.
Here's my example:

Harald, Those are both just domes, there are no interactive nodes in them. Mine has 2 sound nodes, a lens flare, 3 video nodes, 7 nodes that take you to other URL's and image nodes.
If you could have a Look at the images I posted you might better understand what I am describing here. I am very aware that something is wrong, I even know what it is, but I can't fix it which is why I am asking the question. THe images folders are all uploaded into the wrong folder, in an attempt to see if I could at all upload images with the FTP loader to Wordpress at all, period. I learned that I could when I uploaded them to the subfolder above the appropriate location. I cannot access the subfolder where the images need to be located for the dome to work, see image 2 on first post. I cannot access the folder where the images need to be located. I can't access the folder with the .ggpkg, and the other files that make the node work. Meaning, I can see all the content, but I cannot add to or take from or alter anything in the folder. I have no access to it. See the error message images 3 and 4.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos, but how can I access the appropriate wordpress folder so I can get mine working as well? That is the question that remains unanswered and a huge mystery to me and unfortunately the only step left preventing me from sharing my project.

I tried to post on Filezilla but I need a dedicated site email address to write them. Apparently gmail spams too much so my gmail email address is not valid. I am hoping someone here might have a solution to this madness. One click away from posting a live node but the images can't be uploaded to the correct folder, as I do not have permission to the folder but I have permission everywhere else on the FTP side of my WP site via FIle Zilla.

Hi,
Firstly upload and enable the Plugin.
Now you can follow this video from this location: https://youtu.be/wX3V90qE6Wc?t=119
However if its a large project and larger than your Wordpress will allow then do not include your tiles folder and media folder if you have one.
So you should now have a package (.ggpkg) file so and now upload using the media upload of your website.
Once uploaded then use your FTP client and navigate to the decompressed folder in your website, default location is:
wp-content/uploads/2018 (year)/03 (month)/package name.
Open the sand upload the tiles and media folder.
That should get you going.
Regards,
Hopki

Hello Hopki
The above shows that all that you requested was already accomplished, the issue being that the tiles, media, and images folders will not upload to the server via anyftp client, this one happens to be filezilla, which I am intending on using if, and only if I can figure out why the folder will not accept the folders I am trying to upload. All of the above error messages still exist after I tried the tutorial to change the directories to 755 and 644 respectively.
DO you have any idea why I cannot get the folders uploaded via FTP client?
Thank you for any additional assistance.

Hi,
Just curious, have you tried creating an images folder in the nineclub folder and uploading the image files into that folder rather than trying to upload the folder?
Also if you want to pm me your FTP details I'd be happy to try from my end.
