Hi all,
Love the blacksmith video here https://ggnome.com/samples/pano2vr_5/blacksmith/ but I am finding it very hard to follow the steps here https://ggnome.com/wiki/Pin_and_Align_V ... Pano2VR%29 as it's for the older version.
Can anyone provide the workflow for V5 or better still one of Hopki's great tutorial videos.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,
The project was made with version 4.x but looking at the steps all you need to know how to do this in V5 is there.
The only thing I would add is it would be better to add the pan, tilt and FoV settings to the patch file name, know as the angles.
To add the angles to the file name open Pano2VR's settings/preferences then under the Files tab add a place holder to the default patch name.
The current naming convention is:
Add $c to the file path so it displays the angles:
Other than that its the same, you just select the Patch Viewer mode in V5 rather then the Patch Tool in V4.
Regards,
Hopki

I have updated to the latest Pano2VR and PTGui. The instructions can no longer be followed using the outdated tutorial. The only way someone would be able to apply the instructions is if they already knew how to create the live pano in the first place or to at least have an understanding of the steps required. With no knowledge, the tutorial is useless because even opening the pano to extract the patch is no longer the same.
We really need an updated tutorial that applies to the newest releases of both Pano2VR and PTGui. It would also be helpful if there was a demo using both mac and windows versions of Photoshop because again, they do not have the exact same functionality or layout and some of the required steps cannot be followed on windows version while watching the mac version tutorial, such as importing the "image sequence". This options does not even exists on the Windows version of Photoshop.
