Hello,
When viewing any tours on mobile, bringing up a Google Map...I pinch on the map to zoom in and out. This zooms the map in and out, fine.

However, it also zooms in and out the Tour images. Is there a setting somewhere to disable the zooming on the Tour images, when zooming on the map?

Hi,

What do you mean by the "Tour images" are you referring to the equirectangular panorama or something else?

I just did a test with a map and a panorama and zooming in and out on the map didn't affect the panorama.

Test Project: http://rebrand.ly/p2vrzoommap

I didn't see this map behaviour on my projects.

Best regards

Hi Guys,
What type of phone and browser are you using? I'm on a Samsung galaxy 7, tried chrome, Samsung browser, and Firefox. On PC, no issues.

Tony, i clicked and viewed your tour. Saw the pin at bottom, and it places map in center. Whenever I pinch and zoom in, it zooms in on your panorama image. In this case your camera crew.

So it is doing this same on my end as the other tours out there. Just something I was wondering about to possibly disable so my tours don't have this.

This happens to a number of URL shortening services including bit.ly and goo.gl, here's an article on Rebrandly about it https://blog.rebrandly.com/blacklisted-short-links/

I use Amazon S3 which has rather long URL's for example this project is https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com ... index.html.

Now I do have branded short link that I use on rebrandly, can you test it and see if you get the same warning, http://expedition.photography/p2vrzoommap?

thanks,

Tony

I've tested on Safari on the iPad, here's a video of the result https://youtu.be/Jqadx9zvbU8

I just tested on a Galaxy tab and yes the panorama zooms along with the map. Perhaps Hopki has the answer?

Thanks for letting me know. I should get into the habit of using the domain more often, it's just that typing 'expedition.photography' is a bit long winded so I'm hunting around for a shorter one I can use.

Anyone have a solution to this Zoom issue? Or maybe know if fixed in V.6?

HI,
As a thought you don't have Permeable selected in the Maps properties?
If so deselect it.

Hopki,
That is and was deselected. Any other suggestions, or maybe V.6 will solve? It is just an annoying little bug.

Hi,
Do you see the issue with our Layer Marney Tour?
https://ggnome.com/samples/pano2vr_5/tower/
Open the menu and click the Map button.
I'll test with Android tomorrow but on iOS its fine.
