I have a problem with Internet Explorer.
When I create the output with Pano2VR 5.1 Pro, Internet Explorer is opened automatically and the panorama tour is displayed correctly.
If I open the same tour via the index file in the output folder, the Internet Explorer will display the skin, but the image file will not load. In the Firefox everything works perfectly.
Do I have to make special settings for the output?
Panorama does not load in the Internet Explorer

That is normal.
Only Firefox does not have the restrictions to such interactive data.
When you open via Pano2VR ("inside"), the internal server is active and with that url, all browser can be addressed with the local data (panotour on your harddisk).
This simulates the behaviour of a webserver, what means, when you upload, it works also in all of the usual browsers.
But when you open without the internal server (the local html), only FF can handle.

Hi,
You can use the package viewer to open on your desktop.
Open the viewer and drag in the output folder.
Cheers,
Hopki

Hi,
Just to be sure, is it correct that internet explorer is not working to view a tour?
I have a client that I finished a job for and he called me that it was not working correct in internet explorer.
I told him that IE is not supported anymore, but he asked if I was sure and I could check this.
Thanks for any info
Best regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
Are you talking about it opening locally on the desktop or from a link on a website?
As far as I know only Firefox and MS Edge will open the HTML page directly from the output folder.
Mac Safari can if you set Disable Local File restrictions in the developer menu.
With regards to viewing from a link then IE 9, Nope.
IE 10 almost.
IE 11 much better but still had hangups.
MS Edge is good to go.
Latest Firefox and Chrome on desktop all good.
Firefox on Android has issues with 360 video which is new since the last update.
Hope this helps,
Hopki

Hi Hopki,
Thanks for your quick answer.
I'm talking from a website.
My customer is using IE (I don't know which one) but hé told me the images where blurry, slow and the hotspots we're very small and nearly visible (and I used nice animated hotspots...).
I never tested on IE because I thought it is not supported anymore by Microsoft.
My customer told me that they are all using IE at they're company... (?)
He asked for an explanation why IE is not working...
(He thinks that the problem is from my side...).
So, if I can confirm that the problem is IE and not me (ggnome software) than it's ok I hope
Best regards
Peter
