I used the cross-blending-effect to show the terrain before and during of the event:

http://www.pano.szenerien.de/Glantz-Hof ... index.html

How can I set the initial view to "actual view" only for the first two panoramas?

If I look around in a panorama from the ground and click on "Zum Luftpanorama Hoffest am 13.08.17" the initial view should be the same as the starting position of the virtual tour.

Best regards

Harald

Sorry, Hopki, this is what I meant:

I hope, this can help to understand. The two aerial panoramas should always have the same initial field of view.
If the user rotates the ground-panoramas, the aerial panoramas should not change the initial field of view.

Now the orientation of the aerial-panoramas remains the same.

One problem is the slow loading of the second aerial-panorama. Any way to preload it?

1. Open link

http://www.pano.szenerien.de/Glantz-Hof ... index.html

2. First aerial panorama is loaded

3. Click on white button

4. Cross blending to second aerial panorama with same orientation as first aerial panorama - this is intended

5. Click on a hotspot

6. Ground panorama is loaded

7. Rotate the panorama

8. Click on the white button

9. Second aerial panorama is loaded with the starting orientation

---------

Problem:

Same steps 1-2

3. Rotate first aerial panorama

4. Click on white button

5. Second aerial panorama does not open with the latest orientation of first aerial panorama.

Main problem was:

If a ground panorama was rotated the second aerial panorama showed up with the same orientation of the ground panorama.

Hi Harald,
You can use the Forward View in the Open Next Panorama action.
If you set North in both panoramas then when you click the button it will open in the same direction.
It does not need to actually be North but the same point in both panos.
So, pick common landmark and click North as found under the userdata.

Do this for both sky panos.
Then in the button add the action:

The URL would be the pano that you would open.

Hi Hopki,

thank you, I have set north as you said. But it is not really finished.

I do not have the same terms as you:

There is no "Open Next Panorama"

Ground panoramas to second aerial panorama work as expected.

Both aerial panoramas should open at the same direction after they have been rotated.

How can I manage this?

I changed the pano.xml on the server.

Can you please test?

I do not have: "Open Next Panorama".

Is this a known translation-error?

?? Google Translation from

German to English -> Offne Panorama = Open Panorama
English to German -> Open next Panorama = Öffnen Sie das nächste Panorama

I hope the project with three example images can help to fix the problem:

http://www.pano.szenerien.de/Glantz-Hof ... n-Test.zip

1. First panorama is loaded
2. Click on button
3. Second panorama is loaded - crossblending at same position as intended
4. Start from 1
5. Rotate the panorama horizontally a bit to left or right
6. Click on button
7. Second panorama is loaded - crossblending at same position as intended
8. Click on hotspot to load panorama 3
9. Panorama 3 is loaded - here I want to set the dicection with "Set as starting position"
10. Rotate panorama 3 as before (5)
11. Click on button
12. Panorama 2 shows up at the same position as panorama 3 - I wish that the panorama-direction of panorama 2 is the same as at No.1 (First loading)

Perhaps it might be better to add a third button which shows up with all ground panoramas (in my example: panorama 3) with special action.
But I don't know, how to manage this.

______________________________________________________________________________

This intended button-behaviour seems to be impossible to get it to work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The panorama tour should not have more than one visible button in the panorama to blend from pano1 to pano2.

Therefore I placed the two buttons above each other and changed the visibility.

It would be nice if one panorama tour could have two or more skins.

So it would be possible to place a third button with different actions at the same place as the other.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a workaround I added a third button in the last version of my tour. It openes panorama 2 with the starting position.

In panorama 2 it is redundant.

I would be glad if the programmers of Pano2VR could find a better way for this navigation problem.

Any help is appreciated! :)

Best regards

Harald

Hi Harald,
To check understanding when you are in node3 you want to click the button and return to node2 with the starting/default view.

The problem is the buttons have the actions to open node2 with the Forward target so facing the same direction as the last pano.

The simplest way is to add two more buttons with the Forward target and the original buttons use the target Default View.
Then Tag the first two nodes with "air" without the quotes.

Then set the visible logic block to show the two buttons that have the Forward target and hide the two with the Default view.
Then when in node3 the buttons with the default view will show and the ones with the Forward target will hide.

Files attached.

Hopki

Thank you, Hopki, for your input!

I tested the ggsk you sent with the following result:

http://www.pano.szenerien.de/Panorama-P ... ation.html

I'm afraid this is not the solution for this navigation-task.

Can you please have a look at your settings in your ggsk?

Best regards

Harald

-----------------------------------

I realized that you wrote "Air" in the button ID and "air" in the value of the logic block and renamed the button ID in "... air".

Now there is only one function left which is missing:

Open the tour, rotate panorama 1 and click on the button. The panoramas 1 and 2 should always be at the same position to have this blending effect.

With your ggsk, the second panorama openes always at the starting position.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Requirements:

1. Only one button on screen at the same time

2. 2 Buttons only:

a) Go to panorama during the event (aerial-pano 2)
b) Go to panorama before the event (aerial-pano 1)

3. First node is aerial-pano 1, second node is aerial-pano 2

4. Third and the following nodes are ground-panoramas

5. Panoramatour begins with aerial-pano 1 and button 2a (Go to panorama during the event)

6. Click on button blends aerial-pano 1 with aerial-pano 2
and hides button 2a, button 2b appears (Go to panorama before the event)

7. The directions of the two panoramas have been adjusted by setting north

8. After rotating aerial-pano 2 and clicking button 2b, aerial-pano 1 appears at the same position as the last direction of
aerial-pano 2

9. In aerial-pano 2 many hotspots to the ground panoramas appear.

10. Clicking on a hotspot openes a ground-panorama with a pre-defined orientation.

11. In all these ground-panoramas button 2a appears. (Go to panorama during the event)

12. Click on this button always leads to aerial-pano 2 with the hotspots.

13. In order to prevent an unsuitable starting orientation of aerial-pano 2 like sky or parking lot, button 2a should open the panorama always in the starting orientation from where the user can choose other hotspots.

14. Button 2a (or a third button which looks the same as button 2a) must execute different actions.

I hope, there can be a way to acheive this. I have tried again and again with no success.

Ok, lets try this.
Opens like this:

Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.16.05.png
Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.16.05.png (89.95 KiB) Viewed 5739 times

Then first click of the button it looks like this:

Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.17.24.png
Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.17.24.png (101.83 KiB) Viewed 5739 times

You can move node1 and node2 and the button opens in the same view.
In node2 click the hotspot and it opens with node3 default view.
Move node3:

Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.19.49.png
Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.19.49.png (113.02 KiB) Viewed 5739 times

Clicking the button opens node2 in the default view.

Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.21.16.png
Screen Shot 2017-08-30 at 17.21.16.png (101.59 KiB) Viewed 5739 times

Clicking the button again will open node1 with same view.
I have followed your video so this should be it, does it do what you want?

Hopki
