I placed a "Guided Tour" button at the bottom-left corner. When pressed, it plays the animation for the node you're on, and then will transition to the next node. However, the next node will enter "auto-rotation" instead of continuing with the animation. I have auto-rotation and animation unchecked in the Output panel, so that the only way to get the animation is to click the button. I've seen a sample where the animation properly continues, so I assume it's something I'm overlooking?

Thanks for any help!

I've experienced something similar. Though I'm choosing to leave auto rotation on so the animation will start after a period of inactivity.

In one tour my animation sequence uses about 5 nodes out of 14 or so. This is to focus on the most interesting bits of the building and leave out connecting corridors, etc. They're there in the main tour for manual wandering about so customers can learn the layout of the building themselves if they want to.

If the animation starts, after the set pause, in a node included in the animation, then it's fine and goes from clip to clip in an endless loop. Curious as to why this doesn't happen with your button activation?

If it starts in a node not included in the animation clip list then the normal animation, set it the control panel, starts and randomly goes from one node to the next, until it hits a node included in the clip list, then my animation takes over.

Here it is: http://www.fachwen.org/panos/160524-lodge-dinorwig/

Slightly quirky logic, would be nice to know what it is instead of having to work it out by trial and error :|

The effect I really wanted or expected I guess, was for my set of clips to be played regardless of which node the user was in when it starts. Early days!

I don't know if I was clear in describing my issue, and I continue to have it in another tour I'm working on: When the "guided tour" is clicked on, it will do the custom animation for the current node, and then transition to the next node in the animation, but once on that next node, it forgets to use the custom animation and switches to basic rotation. I don't know how to get it to continue the animation as expected.

Hi Guys,
You have a start Animation action and a start Auto rotate action.
But then in the project file you can select use Animation for Auto Rotate.
If this is selected then the start auto rotate action will start the animation. If not it will just start rotating the pano, auto rotate.
So if use animation is not selected you would use the start animation action, note it does not have a restart timer so once you interact with the pano it will stop.

The idea here is you can have an animation to have a guided tour and auto rotate to spin the pano.
So what you gays are experiencing could be how you have set up the actions in the skin and settings under the auto rotate tab.

Hopki
