Greetings:

I'm coming up to speed on 5.0.3. I'm on a mac looking at a skin from 4 using HTML5 output only.
I don't see a "video element" or a "seekbar" in the advanced area of the skin editor menu as described in the tutorial. It stops at the map.
In fact, I don't see it on the graphic of the menu bar in the tutorial either.

Can anyone tell me where it is to drag to the canvas?

Thanks!!

Hi V,

I've just had nightmares with video.:) but thankfully got it solved.
I'm using 5.2pro on a pc (updated this morning), trust me , its worth the extra dimes and install.

Re-encode your video to mp4 using handbrake(https://handbrake.fr)(even if it is originally mp4)(handbrake gets the codecs working for all browsers I've had to try)
(make sure to do this step or audio or video might be missing)

In 5.2 (go to edit edit skin) go to top right hand corner, select components then find (simplex video component or url component etc, just make sure to use the correct component)(see hopkis video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PPn5BM ... Dq&index=3)

In the main ui, pick hotspot, double click on area you want it to appear, then set hotspot type (set to video)(then set to url or local)
Give it a name ( to display)
Then click the link to url button and specify your file.
Dont put any backup file in or preview file.

Click output and copy the contents of the output file into filezilla to get it to your server.

Hopefully it works for you.

Ahhh.... thanks.

The new buttons show up on version 5.1. Looks like the tutorial is still using graphics from 5.0.

Thanks again.
