A little sampling of what we're working on at Aerial Sphere.
We've developed a method to capture thousands of aerial panoramas over urban areas with helicopter and/or airplane and process them with a latitude and longitude coordinate for each pixel. Quite useful if you want to display location based data properly registered over the panoramas.
In this example we use Pano2VR. With a bit of maths and wizardry it's possible to convert the lat/long coordinates to pan/tilt angles
