Hi,

I have still problems with audio hotspots. I want to start the audio and to show a text when the hotspot is clicked. When I click on the text I´d like to disappear the text and stop the audio. Then, when clicking on the hotspot again the audio should start new… What's wrong with my settings?

Kind regards
Petix

Hi Petix,
The hotspot should have mouse click, media, xxxxx loop 1.
Then on close it should be just mouse click, stop media, xxx

Hi Hopki,

but then audio isn't starting again if I click again on the hotspot! I'd like the audio restart from the very first beginning everytime I click on the hotspot… Worked fine in Pano 4.5.3

Hi Petix,
To check my understanding you have added the mp3 in the sound viewer mode and it has a loop of -1.
You then start the sound with a mouse click play media, (sound ID), loop 1.
To stop it you would use a mouse click stop media, (sound ID).

If you use Pause, the sound will play from where you left off, if you use stop the sound will restart.

Hi,
Can you post a cut down version of your skin, so just add the sound, hotspot the popup.
So the idea is you click the hotspot to open the popup and you hear the sound, which plays once.
When you close the sound stops.

Hopki

Hi Petix.

We have the same problem with our project, the sound only plays once.

I found out, that there are no problems with IE, Chrome and Safari (iOS).
It never plays a second time with Firefox (WIN/Mac). It works only sometimes with Safari (macOS).

The problem occours with Pano2VR 5.x – no problems with Pano2VR 4.5.3.

Regards.

Ok, Im going to bug track this, for me when testing it works ok in Safari and Chrome as required with the sound restarting when you click the hotspot. However in Firefox the sound does not restart!

I am facing the same issue with FF (WIN and Android devices). Strangely enough it works fine in TOR browser! (but which customer is using TOR...)

Is there a work-arraound?

Cheers,
