Hi,
Been asked this many times now, so here it is:

Making a multi node tour template:
• Open Pano2VR with no input image
• Add an HTML5 output
• Do not add a skin and under the HTML tab deselect HTML File
• Under the Advanced tab Right button click on the Output File Path and change it to: output/$n.xml
• Also under the Advanced tab and Under the sub heading Multiresolution, change the Filename to: tiles/$n/cf_%c/l_%l/c_%x/tile_%y.jpg
• Click the save as template button located at the top of the HTML5 output, and save, example Tour_Node

• Close Pano2VR

This template will be used when making a multi node tours.

Node One:
• Open Pano2VR and add input image
• Click the Add output green plus button and select: Template => Tour_Node
2.jpg

• Add a Skin and under the HTML tab select HTML File, you only need to do this for node one the opening panorama
• Click Generate Output button, the HTML page will open showing node one. Close it
• Do not close project file, but you may save it under the File menu.

Node Two:
• Open a new instance of Pano2VR and add your input image
• Click the Add output green plus button and select: Template => Tour_Node
• Make sure the output folder is output, if not right button click and edit
• Click Generate Output button, this may open an XML document, just close it.
• Do not close the project file, but again you may save it using the File menu.

Node Three, and all others do the same as for node two.
You should now have a project (p2vr) file for each panorama.
Your output folder will now have one HTML page and an XML file for each node, example pano_01.xml, pano_02.xml etc.

Setting up the Target Views:
• Open Node One project file and move the image in the viewer so you see the view you want to see when coming from node two to node one
• Select Viewing Parameters and make a note of the Pan, Tilt and FoV.

• Open Node Two project file and in the viewer rotate the image unit you see the view you would like to see when you enter node two from node one.
• Select Viewing Parameters and make a note of the Pan, Tilt and FoV.
• Now move the pano to the view you would like to see comping from node three to node two.
• Select Viewing Parameters and make a note of the Pan, Tilt and FoV.

Do this for all panoramas so you have all the data to set up your Target Views.

Setting Up the Hotspots:
• Open Node One project file select hotspot viewer mode and double click to add a point or Poly hotspot
• In the Hotspots properties add a Title and in the Link Target URL add the XML file for node two, example pano_02.xml
• In the Target add the Pan, Tilt and FoV using a forward slash as a separator, example: -9.50/-9.06/70

Now do the same for all the other hotspots and all the other project files remembering to click the Create Output button and save after you have added all the Hotspot to a project file.

Using Node One project open the output and you should now be able to visit all nodes with target views.

This is ok if you doing this for fun and only two or three nodes to link but for more locations Pano2VR Pro is much, much faster and has many more features.

Hopki
