Season Greetings to you all,
I'm pretty new to Pano2VR but have been using it a few months and very pleased with it. One question though; is it possible to start a 'tour' with a still image and hot spots to take the viewer to the first panorama? I was think of using a standard aerial shot (jpg) of my campus, either by helicopter or drone and then putting the hot spots to direct viewers to the various faculty buildings. If this is a function already provided for then apologies but please direct me to the relevant help page.
Best regards to you all, Geoff

Hi geoff.h,
Yes, with Pano2VR 5 you can use a flat image as the first node.
Then add all your spherical images and link to them using hotspots from the flat image.
Note you will need to select flat from image type, auto only detects equirectangular or cylinder.

Is there a way to reduce the size of the opening image?
If so, how?

My opening image is too big for the screen and has to be navigated.

I'd like to reduce the screen size so that it fits within the screen and then add Hotspots to navigate to the pano's.

Kind regards

Hi Ink8455,
This issue will be addressed in the next release of 5.1 beta.
There will be options for No borders and show all for flat images which will be found under the viewing parameters.

Hopki

OK, downloaded the latest beta version (thank you) opened project and have selected an image for the opening page.
I've gone in to Viewing Parameters.

I cannot seem to work out HOW? to reduce the size of the image?????
No Borders and Show All has no effect.

Image needs to be reduced in size to fit on a normal screen.

Hi Ink8455,
Select type to Flat, select Show All and then set FoV to 100 in the viewing parameters.

This will will zoom the image out when you open the output, with show borders then it should work ok.
