Hi there.
I'm about to test Pano2vr on Wordpress and have
opened an "Free" Wordpress account.
I don't seem to be able to upload the plugin into
Wordpress settings.
Is this not avaailble now in the free version of Wordpress
as it looks a lot different to the version shown in your demonstration
video.
Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg,
You need to be able to upload and add plugins.
The free WordPress site does not allow this.
Most use their own hosting and then install Wordpress onto this.

Hopki

I use a wordpress template, using my own hosting...
I tried uploading the package (tour) to the media library and it gave me the following error: HTTP error?..
Why is that?
What happens if the tour is bigger thant the size limit that the media library accept, which is 128 mb???

Hi,
Have a look at this page, at the bottom is a how-to, to upload very large files but needs FTP access to the server.
For the error make sure you can open the package using the package viewer.
If it opens ok with this, then it could be other plugins causing the problem.
Check out the Known Issues post pinned at the top of this forum.

Hopki:
I followed the steps given in the video posted in this page: https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/6/cms-wordpress/ - Uploading large files
It all worked perfectly....thanks for the advice..
Now that I have uploaded the first tour, I have got the following questions:
1. Is it possible to archive the tours in a specific folder, instead of archiving the tour according to the wordpress filing system?...currently wordpress archive any uploads according to the year and the month.
2. If I upload a tour, but then I realise that I need to modify some descriptions, do I have to upload the whole tour again?..how is the procedure to do that?
3. I notice that when I upload the tour in my post, it automatically include the desscription of the tour, author, date, etc. All these information was populated in Pano2Vr...If I dont want to include that information in my post, what do i need to do so the software/pluging do not include that information in the post?.. I want those descriptions to be in the tour but not in the post/web page
4.Before using pano2vr and Garden Gnome Package plugin, I used to publish my pano's in my website using PanoPress....PanoPress has a function call Panobox, which create a buttom/link that when click it opens up a window with the tour...is there something similar that I can do with pano2vr/GGPKG???..so instead of having the tour displayed in the post, it opens up when you click on that button/link
5. I saw in this post: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=13330&p=55696#p55696 that howard created a panorama with pano2vr and then used PanoPress to show the panorama in his website..How can I use Panopress to show the panoramas created with Pano2VR?
