GGPKG incomplete, XML-File is missing!
I get this message after uploading my GGPKG file via Upload From Server.
When I insert it into my WordPress page, I get this message.
I see people had this problem last year, but I saw no help for me there.
Ant ideas?

Thanks.

HI KRuebenson,
Does your ggpkg have an XML file?
when you make the ggpkg, you should be able to double click it and it should open using Pano2VR 5's web server.
Can you send me your ggpkg for testing. There could be settings or themes or other plugins that can cause a problem for the ggpkg so testing on a know working WordPress website will text the ggpkg.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi, Hopki.
When I double-click on the ggpkg file, it opens up just fine with the Pano2VR 5's web server. I have a post in the CMS Plugins forum, wherein I left you the link to the Wordpress page that says "GGPKG incomplete, XML-File is missing!" I have both the Import GGPKG plugin and the Upload From Server loaded. As you can see from my "Once Around" page, I have managed to import smaller files before. This one is 287MB (link below, file too big to attach). Maybe it's the size that isn't working. I had help from GoDaddy, as they told me how to make a php file that allows one to import larger files into my site. One just puts it into the public_html folder on their server, a text file with a .ini extension.
By-the-way:
memory_limit = 512M
upload_max_filesize = 510M
post_max_size = 128M
I have been successful uploading the HTML5 directly onto my home page, but the tiles took many hours to upload, and if I wanted to make any changes, that too would take many hours again. I wish there was a way to sync the files so I wouldn't have to upload all of the files everytime...
Anyway, take a look at the linked file, and tell me what you think. Thanks again.

Kirk

Hi Kirk,
I have moved all posts to this location as its all to do with CMS.
My own Wordpress site had a file size limit of 8MB.
I to added a php.ini file to increase the upload file size.
I still have problem with larger files, in my case I get a HTTP error.

So what I do is output the GGPKG then change the file extension to ZIP.
Extract the folder, at this point you can open the HTML page using Firefox and see the pano.
Now select all the files except the images and tiles folder and make a zip from them.
Rename the ZIP to your original file name and change the extension to ggpkg.

As the new GGPKG has no image for tiles folders it will load very quickly and crunch.
Now using a FTP client navigate to the Wordpress upload folder.

wp-content => uploads => year => month

You will see the extracted folder from the GGPKG, open it and upload the images and tiles folders.
This should bypass any problems with Wordpress.

Im seeing a lot of large PNG files which are node images, you could use JPG.

Hopki
