Hi!
I need to shoot an object movie of a car, but in a natural environment. That means that the background has to move also. Instead of having the car rotate in front of the camera, the camera has to move around the car.
How would you do it?
Thanks for any hint you could share.
Regards!

HI,
I would draw a circle on the ground going around the car and mark off 10 degree steps.
Then put something on the roof that can be easily removed in Photoshop.
Then with the camera on a mono pole move to each 10 degree location (10 degree 36 shots) point at the marker on the roof and shoot.

Each shot should be evenly spaced apart, all at the same height and all looking at the same point at the car.
I would also set your camera to Manual so the Espouse and White Balance does not change between shots.
Regards,
Hopki

I used this method 5 years ago - very difficult to keep the pitch of the camera identical for each shot:

SOOO much easier rotating the car :D www.360imagery.co.uk/portfolio/renault-koleos/
