Hey guys,

is it possible to switch between two objects and two different user interfaces?
For example a table and a chair and in both I have a button to switch to the other furniture.
This is my example for only one furniture:

Can you please help me?

Hi,
You can have a button with a go to URL action which would then the HTML page of the other project.

Hi Hopki,

I found the go to URL action, but then it started the target .html in window mode and doesn't stay in fullscreen. Is it possible to start the url and stay borderless fullscreen? How?

Thanks

Hi Olaf,
My other thought would be to use a button to change to another view state, state 2.
So this first project would use states 0 and 1, the a second product would use states 2 and 3.
The button to change to state 2 would also swop out also skin elements as the same button can have hide and show element actions.
The only down side to this would be the one project would need to load all the images.
But if your using multi resolution then the tiles will only be called when required.

Hi Hopki,
I also had this thought, but now the thing is to big. There are three building in my main menu to choose from and for each building I have to start a color configurator (12 color-states in 15 viewable angles=180 images).
I can instruct my client to press the "fullscreen" button from the main menu, but I have to prevent (somehow) switching back to window mode after "go to url" action. Or alternativly find a borderless browser for the fair and create a smaller windowed version for the web later.

What do you think?

Olaf

Hi Olaf,
If your going to run this locally then have a look at this tip document to make a desktop application.
The problem is when you open a new HTML page you are also opening a new instance of the player which has the default of normal display not fullscreen.
Im hoping in version 4, which will be out later next year you will be able to swop out the XML file in the same browser window which should fix this problem and then allow you to use hotspots to switch projects properly.

Hi Hopki,
thank you very much! The tip with the nwjs.io for makeing an application is great. I'm very pleased with the result. Maybe I can share my configurator in a later project stage.

Olaf
