Hi, Martin.
I'm trying Pano2VR 5.2.2 pro to make a simple fly-in opening of a panorama, from a little planet (stereographic) to the standard (rectilinear) view (like this one, download/file.php?id=5064, you made for MZahnd, here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11990), but combined with a simple splash-screen (like this one, download/file.php?id=1378, you made for Dayve, here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6479) to appear at the end of the fly-in, not at the beginning or during it...
How could I achieve this effect?
Thanx in advance.

Hi,
Please see attached project.
In the skin you will find a timer with Alpha set to 0.000.
It also has the action, mouse click, change Alpha, self.
Then when the timer deactivates to change the Alpha to 1.00.
The time is set to allow time for the fly-in.

Hopki

Thank you, Martin.
It seems that setting an approximate time of delay (5 seconds here) after loading the pano, before showing the splash-screen, is the only way of doing this...
Isn't there an "automatic" way of telling the splash-screen to appear exactly after the fly-in has completed?...
Thank you

Hi,
Yes, forehead slap, self.
Move the popup text out of the timer and delete the timer.
Set the text box to visible but Alpha should be 1.000.
Set an Alpha logic block:
Projection, =, stereo Or
Projection, =, Fisheye
Alpha: 0.000
Then if you want add a transition to fade in the text box.

Then give the text box the actions:
mouse click, change element alpha, alpha: 0.000, self
Init, set element alpha, alpha: 0.000, self

This way you see the change once the projection is rectilinear.

Hi Martin.
Playing with your splash.ggsk I was trying to adapt it to both fly-in and direct rectilinear panos...
I mean a splash screen appearing immediately after the fly-in has completed (as in your skin), for those panos with that opening effect, but also suitable for normal panos without any fly-in effect, opening with the classic and simple rectilinear projection and showing the splash screen.
All this with the same skin, without having to make two different skins for two situations.
I tried some logic blocks and other tricks, but with no success...
Is it possible to obtain such a thing?...
Thank you in advance, as always.
:)

Hi,
I would use two, one for each type of start up, fly-in or not.
The fact its looking at projections, starting with Rectilinear will brake it.

Hi,
The away the splash screen works is it has a logic block so that when the projection is Stereo or Fisheye then is is hidden.
Starting with a Rectilinear then messes with the logic.
